Has anyone had experience or success incorporating pneumatic pads in a
scoliosis orthosis?

RESPONSES:
I’ve never used pneumatic pads with scoliosis. On the surface, it does
not seem like a good idea. Kids used to “stash” their Milwaukee TLSOs
in the alley hiding places on the way to school in years gone by. I
suppose they still do. It seems that pneumatic pads will offer them
similar opportunities for non-compliance.
I have 30 plus braces out with pneumatic pads. Two are in the LA area we
used
to work with a chiropractor out there.
Dr.Copes uses them in the Copes Brace. He claims to be the only “cure”
for scoliosis.
that is the only Orthosis that I’ve seen with pneumatic pads.
