Lisfranc Amputation

Michael Godwin

I have a patient with a Lisfranc amputation that could get appropriate suspension from a high top cm shoe. She still has a sore on the plantar surface of her first metatarsal. Her foot is only 5 and one half inches long. A pressure relief shoe is too big and I feel an AFO with a custom insert is over kill. I will measure for high top cm shoes with a toe filler when she is healed. The xs darco orthowedge shoe is too big, I was wondering if there is something off the shelf that can be modified to help this person or if there are other suggestions.
