Attention all California List Serve Members:
The California Orthotics and Prosthetics Association will be conducting
its Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday, July
14th, at 12:00, in Sacramento, across the street from the State Capitol.
This is an open meeting and all current and prospective COPA members are
invited to attend. Important discussion on legislation, regulation and
the future direction of the association will take place. Directors and
officers will be elected. All who have an interest in the future of the
O&P industry in California are encouraged to attend the meeting and share
their views. The meeting will take place at Chops Restaurant located at
the street level at our lobbyist, Nick Medeiros’ building (1127 11th
Street). Parking is available at 10th and L Street. Meetings with
administrative and legislative representatives are being scheduled for
Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. If you would like to accompany
COPA representatives and have the time to attend, please contact Sherry
Daley at [email protected], or 209-744-2672. Also, there will be
scheduled meetings with member’s legislators for those who are planning
on an overnight stay or can come in early on Thursday. This is your
statewide association – show up and be counted! The meeting is a
luncheon, therefore RSVPs would be helpful. A $20 lunch fee will be
collected on the day of the event.
