Two alternatives to the DAW Skin have been suggested: Skinergy (RL Steeper) and PRS.
Clarification on the rep issue: I consider my interaction with most sales reps a valuable part of my continuing education. The Otto Bock (Tom Doherty), Ossur (Tom Mayer), and Endolite (Jim Hendricks) reps make frequent visits to our office; they are professional, knowledgable, and represent their companies with integrity. I always welcome and make time for visits with and phone calls from them. In the past I’ve seen reps treated less than respectfully, and I’d hate for this DAW discussion to reflect poorly on those who do a great job.
