Podiatrists

Members,

Does anyone know the restrictions Medicare and Blue Cross place on
podiatrists when it comes to prescribing orthotic devices such as afo’s and kafo’s,
etc…or anything above the ankle. Will these insurers pay for services
prescribed by them? We have conflicting information within our billing dept.
