The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists is currently seeking interested persons to serve on the technician education committee. The committee is responsible for the development of content for the academy annual conference as well as advising the academy on issues pertaining to the technical aspects of the industry.
To serve on the committee you need to be an academy member, preferably a technician or technicaly oriented practitioner. Meetings are usualy via conference call and there are no expenses to the committee members.
