Hi Everyone!
I have a a male in his thirties that had surgery in January after a tablesaw accident.
This is his left hand (he is right handed) and he has the ring and little finger left and they used his index finger to replace his thumb. He has abduction/adduction with the thumb but it is weak. The ring finger has very little strength also but the little finger is normal.
His passion is gardening and wants to hold a shovel, rake, etc., and carry heavy objects.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what we can attach to his arm and hand to hold these items?
He likes the idea of a cock-up splint type with attachments…….maybe?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
