The National Limb Loss Information Center (NLLIC), a Program of the
Amputee Coalition of America (ACA), Announces New Topic of the Month
Publication
The NLLIC, a program of the ACA, has announced an expansion of its list
of publications by adding the new NLLIC Topic of the Month Web-based
resource list. The new publication – available online at
list links for a chosen Topic of the Month, such as Medicare, funding,
law, etc. The purpose of the new resource list is to highlight available
materials on the ACA Web site’s online library, an invaluable resource
for amputees, medical professionals, and others with limb loss that are
seeking specific information.
Most of the topics for the resource list will be chosen in accordance to
popular requests coming through the ACA’s Web site or from popular
articles relating to its most recent inMotion or FirstStep magazines;
but, according to NLLIC Librarian Meredith Goins, “The new publication
also will seek out any relevant news updates, industry or regulation
changes, and any other ‘hot topics’ concerning amputees and limb loss.
We want to do everything we can to keep those with limb loss up to date
on current and important issues.”
The new publication will add to the wealth of information already
available on the ACA’s Web site and will further the NLLIC’s mission of
providing quality and timely information. To find out more about this
