I have been working with a local veterinarian for a few months doing
stifle (knee) braces for dogs. I am sure there are few of you out there
that have been doing this, and I would be happy to share ideas about
this. I can tell you that it is very rewarding to work with the animals
and it is even more enjoyable when you don’t have to deal with insurance
:).
The vet I am working with has just asked me if we could do a prosthesis
for a small cat. My last brace was for a three legged dog and I am not
sure that the cat could not survive without a prosthesis, but has anyone
had experience with this, and would you be willing to share advice?
