Dear list,
I am looking to acquire a wooden limb maker’s vise. The style that I’m looking for has the acme thread main screw, not one made of wood. I don’t know if these vises were manufactured this way or were a shop modification but the ones that I’ve seen employ a car steering wheel for one-handed closing. If you have one available for purchase, kindly drop me a line. BTW: does anyone know of a company that is currently making something similar?
