Ossur of North America and Otto Bock Health Care recently provided =
assistance to two foreign amputees in April.
What a great job I have in helping to make so many people so happy and =
grateful. Without the help of our Hope Donors and sponsoring =
prosthetists it would be impossible to provide over 800 amputees =
worldwide to date with prosthetic rehabilitation. It’s a team effort =
that results in making people whole again.
April 25, 2003 sponsoring prosthetist Kevin Garrison LP of Garrisons =
O&P Clinic in Margate Florida, completed Natalya Kamneva , a 49 year old =
Russian woman ,with her new A/K prosthetic rehabilitation. Natayla came =
to the USA pecifically to seek help in her prosthetic rehabilitation.”
Otto Bock Health Care provided the component donations and Kevin =
Garrison LP of the Garrison Prosthetic Services, provided the =
sponsorships for the Barr Foundation for this very grateful lady whom =
had worn the same device for 17 years.
Alfredo Ghirardi, 28 year old male from Argentina lost his leg below the
knee in an auto accident in 1979.He also enlisted the help of Garrison =
O&P Clinic to sponsor him for the Barr Foundaton. After arriving to this =
country on a medical visa he was successfully fitted .
Thanks to the generosity of Ossur North America’s donation of a Flex =
foot, Alfredo will remain employed and=20
active in his position as an retail department manager in Cordoba =
Argentina..
