I stand corrected (Re: Fla O&P Law)

I was under the impression that the “ortho-techs” or “cast techs” that we are

all familiar with, referred to orthopedic technician or cast technician, not

technologist as pointed out by Mr. Baracas. I guess thats the beauty of this

open forum, to inform and educate all who subscribe.

I also got the impression from the rest of his comments, that I chose the

wrong educational pathway to provide my services. I guess (according to Mr.

Baracas) the bulk of orthotic care has been historically provided by these

folks, and we Orthotists just get a few crumbs of work here and there.

Perhaps I should attend his school and truly learn how to work it, I mean do

my work…. (yeah right)
