Here are some additional responses regarding the lowest profile locking
mechanism available:

Fillaur has a shuttle that includes a 4 hole plate that I have used
successfully. Fabrication is very simple. You can use it with a male
pyramid
adapter with hole also available from Fillaur. This is the lowest
profile I
am aware of. Because of it’s shape I am not sure how well it would work
for
very tapered RL’s (lack of contact distal). I can get the number if your
interested or if you ask someone at SPS you can call it the hockey puck
and
they will know what you are talking about. Sorry I am at home and have
no pt
