I have a patient with a very short BE who has worn a Muenster type
socket. She recently gained significant weight which, in addition to
scar tissue and a very sensitive trigger point, is making it difficult
for her to don the socket. I am considering using a shuttle lock with
gel liner and would like advice as to the smallest and lightest lock,
suggestion pro or con on using with short BE, and any helpful anecdotal
experiences as to products and materials.
