hi everyone
i am brand new to this o&p list serve world & i am not the greatest
communicator but i would like to throw my thoughts out there
i sense there are some polarization, politics etc.,etc. out there among our
community but we need to focus our energy towards a goal of propelling &
promoting
o&p to solve patient problems.
there are practitioners among our group who where in other disciplines
[o.t.’s/ p.t.’s] prior to becoming orthotist/prosthetist, they own a special
blend of knowledge &
professional bonding that might help our [o&p] skills get used & called upon.
i believe we should at a national level aid our best speakers especially
those who posses dual credentials to go out to other disciplines conferences
…. p.t, o.t., orthopedist, physitrist, podiatric ‘, ruematologist,
etc.,etc.
by aiding them i mean using national funding to create 1st class visual aids ‘
,pay there expenses & —pay them !!!!!
lets forget this bickering & make o&p utilized more often!!!!!
