All of this conversation on the consolidation issue is wonderful! I
challenge those of you who are participating in cyberspace, to also
communicate your opinions directly to the National Office as well. They can
be reached via fax, phone and online (no excuses). Much of the National
Office staff read this list as well.
FYI, the National Office has circulated at least two faxes concerning
consolidation. The first was sent 10-98 titled “O&P Organizations to Pursue
Consolidation”. The second fax , was sent after the Consensus Conference in
AZ 12-98, titled “O&P Community to form American Association for Orthotics
and Prosthetics”. Educate yourself about what is happening and how to
effect it! Request copies for yourself and your staff.
