The Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research (the O&P Foundation) is accepting applications for the 2024 Chester Haddan Scholarship through April 12.
The O&P Foundation, with support from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC), has increased the scholarship award to $2,500 in celebration of ABC’s 75th anniversary, and in recognition of Haddan’s dedication to the O&P profession.
As ABC’s first president, Haddan helped establish clinical standards and furthered the profession through his commitment to education. With the scholarship, the O&P Foundation and ABC aim to continue his legacy of leadership and innovation by empowering future generations of O&P practitioners.
