The Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research is accepting nominations for the Carlton Fillauer Award for Outstanding Contribution to Prosthetics Science and Practice, sponsored by the Fillauer family. The award recognizes prosthetists and prosthetist/orthotists who have actively engaged in and contributed to clinical care, research, and scientific dissemination in the prosthetics specialty.
In addition to the recognition of the award, recipients receive a $5,000 cash award. Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 pm CST on August 4.
The award will be presented at the 2026 American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium.
