The Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research named its board of directors for 2025-2026. Terms begin October 1.
Appointments include:
Mark Geil, PhD, chair. Geil is a professor of biomechanics and prosthetics and orthotics at Kennesaw State University and has faculty appointments at Georgia Tech and Georgia State University. He is a Fulbright Senior Specialist awardee and winner of the Thranhardt and Research Awards from the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
Sara Morgan, PhD, CPO, vice chair. Morgan is a senior research scientist and codirector of the Spine Research Program at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, Minnesota.
James Kingsley, treasurer. With 13 years of service in O&P, Kingsley is currently a regional vice president at Hanger. Prior he was the COO for Scheck & Siress.
Christopher Fairman, CPO, immediate past chair. Fairman is cofounder of Great Lakes Prosthetics & Orthotics, Michigan and has mentored dozens of residents and students at Eastern Michigan University.
