Curt Bertram, CPO, FAAOP, joined O&P Insight, Las Vegas, as a managing partner.
Bertram is a past president of the American Board for Certification Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics and current chair of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association Coding and Reimbursement Committee. He has presented nationally and internationally on pediatric orthotics, compliance, and clinical documentation.
He works closely with clinicians on documentation that will support medical necessity, policy coverage, and stand up to prior authorization or post-payment audits and with facilities to write appeals to assist in reversing denials and recoupments.
