The Orthotic Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA), Waterloo, Iowa, has announced that the nomination period for the O&P Woman of the Year Award is now open.
Karen Edwards, director of the Össur Women’s Leadership Initiative and a senior area manager with Össur in Arizona and Utah, was selected as O&P Woman of the Year for 2018 and will serve on this year’s selection committee.
In addition to Edwards, the selection committee includes Jeffrey M. Brandt, CPO; Kenton R. Kaufman, Ph.D., P.E.; Pamala Lupo, CO, LO; and Brian Gustin, CP.
The award will be presented at the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) National Assembly in San Diego in September. To submit a nomination by the July 12 deadline, visit the OPGA website.
