Open Bionics Earns First Medically Approved 3D-printed Prosthesis

The National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom has approved a 3D-printed prosthetic arm developed by Open Bionics, Bristol, England, for use within the NHS. The medical certification will make the device, called the Hero Arm, available to patients in April.
