Ottobock, Duderstadt, Germany, announced that Jörg Wahlers has been appointed CFO, effective August 8. The appointment will allow Philipp Schulte-Noelle, who has held the roles of CFO and CEO since November 2018, to focus on his role as CEO.
“As a proven, cross-sector expert, [Wahlers] has knowledge of both family-owned companies as well as partnerships with private equity,” said Schulte-Noelle. “He has proven himself as an operationally clear-headed, organized, and goal-oriented CFO who looks beyond the figures.”
Wahlers joined Ottobock from outdoor specialist Jack Wolfskin, where he was the CFO and COO.
