Ottobock, Duderstadt, Germany, won an Independent Living Design Award for the C-Leg 4 at the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) annual dinner, held November 30 in London. The BHTA represents nearly 500 company members in the healthcare industry. The awards recognize companies and individuals who have made a valuable contribution to the healthcare industry with innovative products and services.
In addition to the features of the C-Leg 4 microprocessor-controlled leg prosthesis, Ottobock was recognized for the OneFit trial system, which has redefined prosthesis fitting in the National Health Service, the public health service in the United Kingdom.
