The Pedorthic Footcare Association (PFA) created the Fellowship of Pedorthic Footcare designation to honor individuals whose sustained contributions have advanced pedorthics and strengthened its place within the broader healthcare community.
“For pedorthics to continue thriving, we must recognize the mentors who helped build the profession and who continue to educate, innovate, and lead. Their work deserves visibility across foot health, biomechanics, orthotics, and pedorthic science,” said Jeffery S. Rich, CPed, PFA president. “The Fellowship advances PFA’s mission by keeping senior members engaged, giving newer members a meaningful professional goal, and showing physicians, employers, and partners that pedorthics has recognized senior leaders and thought leaders. This is more than recognition, it helps preserve the knowledge and history that will guide the next generation of our profession.”
