An article in the January issue of The O&P EDGE highlights the new year and being prepared for the new opportunities and new pressures as it relates to O&P. Success, however, won’t come from a single strategy, but consistency. Of those who responded to our question about ways to keep your business thriving, 61 percent said keeping the team educated is the best way to ensure a successful year; 17 percent said proper documentation and coding is vital; 17 percent said they’re making data-drive decisions, and 6 percent of those who responded said staying compliant will lead toward a successful year.
After we asked our followers what they could do professionally to prepare their business for success in 2026, we asked them to turn that spotlight on themselves with ways to prepare personally for a successful year, 36 percent said they set Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound (SMART) Goals; 23 percent said they like to organize and declutter; 23 percent also said it’s important to nurture yourself, and 18 percent said they take the time to review the past year.
