BraceTraceTM, a new digital data
acquisition system used in fabricating traditional metal and
leather orthoses. All that is required is a simple series of
digital photos from the same camera already in use in most
practices, taken with the patient in place on the
BraceTrace scaling device.
Bracemasters produces high-quality metal AFOs, KAFOs, and HKAFOs
using BraceTrace with far greater accuracy and
less guesswork than fabrication from traditional tracings. Digital
tracing allows corrections to be made to anatomical alignment, plus
accurate calculation of measurements.
