On May 8, Shamrock Prosthetics, Georgia, celebrated its 9th anniversary and the first anniversary of providing care in its state-of-the-art Atlanta office. CEO Steve Ehretsman, who has a transtibial amputation due to a work-related trauma, founded the company in 2015.
Ehretsman drew on his appreciation and admiration for the United States military to create a custom challenge coin as a memento of the anniversary celebration. A US Army colonel and foreign service officer described the meaning behind the challenge coin and shook each employee’s hand as he presented their coins. Shamrock Prosthetics also received a city proclamation from Brookhaven, Georgia, Mayor John Park and Councilman John J. Funny recognizing the anniversary.
