Rick Fleetwood, CEO of Snell Prosthetics & Orthotics, Little Rock, Arkansas, will retire effective January 31.
Frank Snell, CPO/L, FAAOP, will continue to serve as president and will assume the CEO position.
Fleetwood joined Snell in 1975, where he first served as general manager of the Little Rock office. He was promoted to CEO in 2000, and during his tenure he helped oversee the expansion of the company from a single location to ten locations across Arkansas.
Fleetwood helped the company adapt to changes in the industry including reimbursement, regulation, compliance, educational requirements, and state licensure.
“Rick has contributed so much to our company’s success over the past 45 years and his achievements will not be forgotten,” Snell said. “He has always been a champion for those with disabilities and his extensive volunteerism is unmatched in the industry and serves as an example for all to follow.”
