UK-based Radii Devices received funding for study and development of an app with the aim of improving prosthetic fit through real-time, patient-led data. Reporting of socket comfort, activity, and fit will support the patient-clinician partnership by using the data-centered insights to help clinicians deliver refined socket fitting.
The UK’s Office for Veterans’ Affairs (OVA) is funding the collaboration to develop the app as one of 22 selected for support through the OVA’s Health Innovation Fund, delivered in partnership with the Defence and Security Accelerator.
Collaborating with Radii on the project are:
- Blesma, The Limbless Veterans Charity
- University of Southampton
- University of Bath
- CareIQ
- Portsmouth NHS Hospitals Trust
