SPS announced three recipients of its 2024 SPS O&P scholarships, which are given to promising students pursuing a career in O&P. Each student will each receive $2,500 toward their educational pursuits.
This year’s winners are:
- Bianca Hill, Baylor College of Medicine, SPS O&P Master’s Scholarship
- N’Jhari Jackson, International Institute of Orthotics & Prosthetics, SPS O&P Master’s Scholarship
- Mohamed Ahmed, Century College, SPS O&P Technician Scholarship
The students were chosen based on their excellent leadership skills, academic achievements, and written essay submissions.
“I would like to express my congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients,” said Coleson Chase, vice president and general manager of SPS. “Their passion for the field, and drive for improving patients’ lives, exemplify the values we hold dear at SPS. We believe in their ability to lead and are honored to invest in their futures.”
