The Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research has received a $30,000 donation from the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) in support of the foundation’s mission to advance clinical care through research, education, and professional funding programs in the O&P profession.
Half of the donation will be made in 2025, which will be matched by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC) as a part of the $1,000,000 O&P Foundation/ABC Match Challenge.
“We are grateful for NCOPE’s investment in the future of O&P though the O&P Foundation,” said Fanny Schultea, MS, MSEd, CPO, FAAOP(D), executive director of the O&P Foundation. “This gift will help fuel the organization’s O&P scholarship, Microgrant, and Mentored Pilot grant programs.”
