UNYQ, San Francisco, announced the appointment of Marcus Engman as vice president of design. Engman is the former head of design for IKEA, the Swedish furniture maker, a position he held for over six years before forming his own consultancy, Skewed Productions. He also serves as global executive creative director for Doberman, a design company.
Engman will assume responsibility for UNYQ’s product design, including the prosthetic and orthotics ranges, and lead the development of new partnerships and expansion into new markets, beginning with designs for the gaming community in partnership with IKEA.
