UTSW O&P Students Receive Barr Foundation Grant

University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) students in the Master of Prosthetics-Orthotics Program have received a $3,000 grant from the Barr Amputee Assistance Fund to help fund an OPAF and First Clinics event. The students will host First Dance and First Volley Tennis clinics on October 12 in Dallas.

This will be the fifth year in a row UTSW students have hosted First Clinics.

Alps South, Saint Petersburg, Florida; Spinal Technology, West Yarmouth, Massachusetts; and SPS, Alpharetta, Georgia, will also be event sponsors as well as support from the United States Tennis Association Texas.
