The Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking volunteers for a study it is conducting on a powered prosthesis. Researchers are seeking individuals between 18 and 75 years old who have unilateral transfemoral amputations and are at K3-K4 activity levels. Participants will stand and sit, and walk on level ground, stairs, and ramps while the powered prosthesis is attached to their current prosthetic socket.
Each lab visit will be between two and six hours and volunteers will be compensated at a rate of $20 per hour. For more information contact Kinsey Herrin, MSPO, C/LPO, at 706-424-9255, or via email at [email protected]
