WillowWood, Mount Sterling, Ohio, will furlough a significant number of its employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the situation improves, WillowWood expects to bring those employees back.
WillowWood remains open for business and will continue to remain focused on protecting the health and safety of its employees, clinical customers, prosthetic patients, and communities around the country during the pandemic. The company presently has a cross-functional leadership team monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation, including guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. WillowWood is following social distancing, shelter-in-place, and essential-travel-only mandates by state and local governments and complying with all guidance.
Given that most patients have limited ability to travel to clinics for essential needs only, and are postponing appointments or using virtual consultations whenever possible, many of the company’s clinical partners have moved their staff to work-from-home arrangements or engaged in temporary closure of clinics for patient and workforce safety.
During this time, WillowWood is committed to maintaining its customer service and delivery lead times and have temporarily rearranged the sales territory coverage to ensure all customers have a point of contact.
