WillowWood, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, has named John Robertson as its new chief technology officer.
Robertson has experience in the development of U.S. Food and Drug Administration Class I and Class III medical technology devices and leadership in engineering and operations. He will focus on the development of technology-based prosthetic products.
Robertson worked as the senior vice president of research development and manufacturing at Freedom Innovations, Irvine, California, where he was active in the development of advanced technology lower-limb prostheses.
“Since transitioning to the medical industry in 2011, I’ve been fortunate to work on life-changing products,” Robertson said. “Joining WillowWood and extending its experience…into new product lines and technology is a rewarding opportunity.”
