Xtremity, Denver, closed a Series B3 financing round of $8.1 million, which saw “strong insider participation and the addition of several prominent new investors,” the company said. The cash infusion will support bringing the company’s first product, the XtremityTT, to market. The XtremityTT is a transtibial prosthetic socket that can be reshaped with heat, which allows for inhouse fabrication, quicker turnaround time, and fewer appointments for patients to receive their definitive sockets.
