The American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) has partnered with Cailor Fleming Insurance, Youngstown, Ohio, effective January 1, 2010. AOPA’s relationship with AON, its former insurance partner, will expire at that time.
The newly installed president of AOPA, James A. Kaiser, CP, who is also CEO of Scheck & Siress O&P, Chicago, Illinois, made the announcement at AOPA headquarters in Virginia. Present at the time were Jeffrey A. Michalenok, president of Cailor Fleming Insurance, and Don Foley, a principal of Cailor Fleming Insurance and the manager of the firm’s O&P program.
Michalenok stated that Cailor Fleming is “committed to serve the AOPA membership with the same level of service and claims management as we have for the past 15 years.” Foley commented that he believes “it is this high level of personal service that has earned Cailor Fleming a 95-percent client retention rate in this highly competitive marketplace.”
Kaiser noted, “Cailor Fleming brings 15 years of experience and client growth to the new partnership. In the last few years, a majority of the AOPA board of directors have also selected Cailor Fleming as their firms’ insurance provider. This eventually led to AOPA’s decision to partner with the company in an effort to expand insurance services to members.” He added that Cailor Fleming’s “track record of impeccable client services, the broad range of insurance products, and a fifteen-year record without any premium increases further recommends their services to the O&P field.”
