College Park Industries, Warren, Michigan, announced that David Hughes, CPO, has joined the company as manager of its clinical education department; he will be based primarily in the Holliston, Massachusetts, division. Hughes will oversee upper-limb clinical education, provide education and customer support domestically and internationally as a product application expert, and assist in research projects and new product development.
Hughes comes to College Park from Freedom Innovations, Irvine, California, where he was a clinical prosthetist for four years. He spent nine years prior to that as a practicing clinician with the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, California, and with Prosthetics Etc., Anaheim, California. Hughes received a bachelor of science degree in health sciences with a major in O&P from California State University, Dominguez Hills, in 2001.
