Hanger acquired of Bionic Power, a Canadian company developing smart orthotic technology. Bionic Power manufactures Agilik, a microprocessor-controlled KAFO to treat gait impairments caused conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and stroke. The company was recently named to the 2026 Forbes Accessibility 200 List.
Bionic Power CEO Gualtiero Guadagni will continue to lead Bionic Power, which will become part of Hanger’s products and services organization.
The acquisition is expected to close this year.
