Hydraulic Solutions: Natural Motion and Stability

Hydraulic ankles and knees help restore a smoother, more adaptive gait by accommodating real-world conditions.

  • AvalonK2: A hydraulic ankle that has been designed specifically for the complex needs of limited community ambulators. (K2)
  • EchelonER: A versatile ankle-foot that combines 25 degrees of hydraulic ankle motion with dynamic and energy storing carbon springs. Allowing your patient to have the ability to change shoes or walk barefoot with ease. EchelonER self-aligns with the ground when users are seated which enables a relaxed foot position, a natural look, and reduces pressure on the residual limb. (K3)
  • KX07: A robust, waterproof, polycentric, 4-bar knee in combination with hydraulic swing and stance for a smooth, predictable operation and outstanding geometric stability in all terrain for high-impact and active users. This balance of safety and performance enables patients to expand their walking range without sacrificing security. (K3-4)

Microprocessor Solutions: Intelligent Adaptability

For all patient types, microprocessor technology provides dynamic control, safety, and confidence.

  • Avior (NEW): A lightweight microprocessor knee designed for K2 users. Avior delivers stability, safety, and a smooth walking experience, perfect for new amputees and lower activity amputees, all provided by our ground-breaking biomimetic design philosophy.
  • Orion3: An advanced MPK for K3 users, Orion3 offers stumble recovery, adaptive stance control, and customizable settings to improve walking speeds across various terrains.
  • Linx: The world’s first fully integrated limb system. Linx integrates microprocessor control of both the knee and ankle simultaneously. By communicating in real time, Linx delivers fully coordinated limb response, improving balance, stability, and natural gait in diverse environments. (K3)
  • ElanIC: A microprocessor-controlled hydraulic ankle that adapts to inclines, declines, and varied terrain while offering an automatic standing lock – delivering efficiency and stability for active users. (K3)

Socket Technology and Sport

No prosthetic solution is complete without a comfortable, secure interface. Silcare Breathe liners incorporate unique venting technology that allows moisture to escape, promoting skin health. Helping patients remain active without the discomfort often associated with heat and sweat.

The BladeXT is the complete solution for active users. It’s suitable for everyday use as well as running, cycling and other sporting activities, too. It has been designed so that wearers don’t have to stop and change their prostheses between activities throughout the day. (K4)

Orthotics

For orthotic patients, we have Tectus®: a slim, lightweight microprocessor-controlled orthosis. Tectus is a life-changing intelligent orthosis that allows people with impaired mobility, due to partial paralysis in their lower limbs, to walk again. Instead of a locked knee brace, cane or wheelchair, this system provides the freedom to participate in regular daily activities.

The Blatchford Difference

Every Blatchford device is designed to help patients achieve their mobility dreams. Our product range allows clinicians to tailor each prescription to the patient’s unique mobility level, lifestyle goals, and environmental demands. From the first steps of rehabilitation to peak performance, there’s a Blatchford solution for every stage of the journey.

Combining innovative engineering, clinician feedback, and patient-centered design, Blatchford continues to advance prosthetic technology across the spectrum of care. With a product for every need, we’re here to support both you and your patients today, tomorrow, and for the miles ahead.
