The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) honored its newest Fellow and Fellow with Distinction, Michael L. McCauley, MS, CPO/L, FAAOP, and Kristin Carnahan, CPO, FAAOP(D).
McCauley is the director of pediatrics for the Great Lakes Region at Hanger Clinic. His 14-year career spans clinical care, leadership, research, and education, as well as volunteer service advancing access to care and mentoring future clinicians.
Carnahan practices at Michigan Medicine and has extensive clinical, teaching, and research experience. She has advanced patient care, mentored future O&P professionals, and contributed nationally through scholarship, leadership, and Academy service.
The Fellow designations (FAAOP, FAAOP(A), and FAAOP(D)) honor sustained commitment to lifelong learning, professional excellence, and service to the O&P community.
