Adapttech, Birmingham, England, announced that its founder has been chosen as one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Europe Class of 2021. Frederico Carpinteiro was selected from tens of thousands of nominations as one of Europe’s top young innovators and entrepreneurs.
Carpinteiro, a bioengineer, cofounded Adapttech in 2015 with the goal of developing technologies that give people who live with physical limitations a better day-to-day quality of life.
“We noticed that there were lots of companies and research institutions focused on finding cures or permanent solutions for just as many diseases and conditions, but barely anyone working to help people cope with these problems in the meantime,” Carpinteiro said. “Adapttech was created to improve the everyday life of people with disabilities, and I believe we are well on the way to making that a reality. I am both thrilled and humbled to be recognized by Forbes alongside so many wonderful and talented young people across Europe.”
