The Amputee Coalition has named Whitney Doyle as its new director of government relations.
Doyle, a University of Central Florida and St. Petersburg College graduate, was executive director for the Florida Alliance for Assisted Services and Technology for the past three years, where she prepared grant applications and budgets to support major federal, state, and local assistive technology programs. She has also worked as the director of the Florida Youth Leadership Forum at the Florida Association of Centers for Independent Living.
“It’s an exciting role and I’m eager to get started. I’m looking forward to getting some legislation in Florida going next year,” Doyle told the Florida Politics website.
