The Amputee Coalition named William Perno, MBA, FACHE, as its interim president and CEO. Perno has been a member of the Amputee Coalition board of directors since 2018 and is the current chairman of the board. He will guide the organization and ensure a smooth transition, working closely with the senior team to maintain momentum across programs, partnerships, and advocacy efforts.
A national search for the permanent position will begin in October.
The previous president and CEO, Cassandra Isidro, resigned in August.
