The 2014 American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) National Assembly, held September 4-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada, officially kicked off that Thursday evening with the exhibit hall opening ceremony and ribbon cutting as Anita Liberman- Lampear, MA, AOPA president, addressed the assembled visitors. The more than 2,200 attendees were treated to a Viva Las Vegas-themed welcome reception where they had their first opportunity to visit the 160 exhibitor booths at this year’s assembly.
