The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) is accepting nominations for its Lifetime Achievement Award. The award honors outstanding leaders who have made significant contributions to the advancement of O&P patient care over their careers. The nomination deadline is May 9.
AOPA members may nominate any individual who meets the criteria; nominees do not have to be associated with an AOPA member organization. Nominations will remain on file and will be considered in each of the next three award cycles after submission. Self-nominations are not accepted.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is intended for individuals with at least two decades of documented accomplishments in O&P that have had a significant impact on individuals and/or organizations through volunteerism, research presentations, programs and projects, and/or service and mentorship.
