The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) is accepting nominations to its board of directors. The nomination deadline is July 31.
The BOC board of directors is responsible for the organization’s vision, setting its goals, developing its plans, overseeing its activities, managing its resources, and maintaining the organization’s integrity and stature. Underlying all their duties is the recognition by every board member of the importance of the ongoing role that BOC-certified professionals and BOC-accredited facilities play in patients’ lives. Nominees should have a desire to take an active role in defining the future of BOC. Board members are required to participate in four board meetings annually. Each director serves a four-year term with an option to run for a second consecutive term.
