The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) presented Össur with the 2018 Partner of the Year Award during its Celebration of Abilities Awards dinner, held as the kick-off for CAF’s 25th annual Aspen Medical San Diego Triathlon Challenge (SDTC).
“On behalf of everyone at Össur, we thank The Challenged Athletes Foundation for this honor. We think ‘partner’ perfectly describes the relationship we have mutually enjoyed over these two decades,” said Olyfur Gylfason, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Össur.
Össur has been CAF’s exclusive provider of prosthetic componentry for more than 20 years. The company renewed its commitment as the prosthetics partner for another three years and will continue to support CAF’s annual grant program, as well as serving as a sponsor for the SDTC.
